I am a mom, grandma, & great grandma, an accountant, certified medical assistant, and own a construction & business management company. In 2008 I was blessed with the news of another grandaughter. However, while basking in the great news we were hit with the fact that she has spina bifida. The picture painted by the doctors was devastating & termination was advised… However, termination was not an option and our family was blessed with Kaitlynn Loraine Lewis. Born with spina bifida, hydrocephalus, and Arnold-Chiari malformation. It has been a journey but one we have never regretted. She is a continued blessing to our family and others she meets. My mission is to spread the word that you are not alone and to help others travel this road as best as possible.
